Megeve Ski Weekends and Short Ski Breaks

Ski weekends and short ski breaks are highly popular in Megeve due to the short (70 min) transfer from Geneva airport. You can fly out after work on Thursday, ski Friday to Sunday and catch the last flight home on Sunday evening ready for work on Monday.

Megeve is a very picturesque resort with a huge ski area. Originally built by the Rothschilds, the village is full or charming boutiques, bars and restaurants. The skiing is very varied with long winding blue and red runs through the trees with beautiful views of Mont Blanc. Steeper runs are found at Cote 2000 and Mt. Joly. There are plenty of cosy mountain restaurants serving Savoyard specialities, or ease those aching muscles with a vin chaud on the sun terrace! Where should you stay for your ski weekend? We have several different options ranging from our luxury ski Chalet Les Clochettes with five beautiful en-suite rooms with balcony and your own live-in professional chef and host to our catered chalet/hotels Sylvana and Rond Point which are comfortable but not luxurious former hotels that we run as chalets. There is a friendly and welcoming ambience. All rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, there is a comfortable sitting and lounge area with log fire and bar and we have professional chefs in all of our chalets so the food is really superb.

Alternatively, perhaps you would like to enjoy some of Megeve's wonderful restaurants during your ski weekend? If so, why not book a short skiing break in one of our luxury self-catered apartments, the Roseau or the Clochettes apartment. Both are very comfortable apartments, well furnished and ideally situated for the skiing and the village.

Ski weekends and short ski breaks can also be booked in Megeve's3 and 4 star hotels during January, March and April.

We offer skiing weekends and short ski breaks from Wednesday or Thursday for 4 or 3 nights respectively (to end on a Sunday). However, the demand for this is high resulting in us having empty beds for the rest of the week. We therefore price accordingly; as do the airlines. As a result a Sunday to Wednesday short skiing break can be half the price, see table below, and you can also benefit from our accompanied skiing programme, which runs Monday to Wednesday mornings.

We are now accepting bookings for other periods so please do call us for availability and prices. We discourage changeovers on Fridays (staff day off)

The Megeve short break price in our catered chalets includes:

Ski Weekends and Short Ski Breaks over Half Term.

We have very little space left for half term and we know flights are expensive so to help out we are offering short breaks over half term. We just have a few rooms left from Wed 15th or Thurs 16th Feb to Sunday 19th Feb for a price of £380 or £275 respectively excluding transfers but including as above. If flights are still too expensive on the Sunday then why not stay over to the Monday or the Tuesday? Call the office for details.

Snow report 20th Feb - Huge amounts of snow now in Megeve. Another 20 cm fell last week and there is now a really deep base. Temperatures are still cold so looking good for the end of the season. For more details see the Megeve snow report.
